« C’est absolument génial de chez génial ! »

** GREAT, A WRINKLE ! **
Until now, my life was really easy-going.
Kind of kids, work, sleep, except that for me, the work takes place at home, scotch-taped to a computer’s keyboard.
Well, yes, my job, it’s (famous) writer.
But recently, everything tipped over : a handsome boy in the street called me « madam », I needed a simultaneous translation to understand what said to me a teenager, a honeyed seller suggested me an anti-aging cream, I surprised friends forging their date of birth.
And suddenly, I realized that I was already thirty six years old. That is, technically, almost forty. Thus soon fifty.
In your opinion, what should I do ? I depress, or I’m positive ?
In search of something that will spice up your life ? Here is the story of Anoushka, a hilarious read that teach you that life goes on and still surprises you, at any age of your life.
Anoushka writes thrillers. She thoughts she was pretty young, until a humiliating series of tiny events brought her to the devastating realization that she had hit 36. Technically, that’s almost 40. Therefore, pushing 50.
Mired in dull day-to-day existence, Anoushka starts to feel she’s suffocating. Her carefree youth now seems so distant.
When her cousin marries a man in a far-flung corner of the country, she and her best-friend set off to attend the wedding.
The two women take advantage of the escape to regress into adolescence, until a strikingly handsome mysterious man saves Anoushka from drowning in the swimming pool and offers to give her and her friend a ride to their hotel. But the ride ends up taking much longer than expected…
« Agnès Abécassis is certainly one of the only french writers whom humor can compete with the humor of her Anglo-Saxon colleagues. » – (Prima Magazine)
